The fine print, in plain words

Privacy

Last updated May 26, 2026

Short version: we collect the little we need to run a darts tally, we don't sell it, and you can ask us to delete it whenever you like. The longer version is below.

What we collect

  • Your email — so you can sign in and we can reach you about your account.
  • Your display name — what shows up on the scoreboard.
  • Your games — the scores, players, and results you record.
  • Basic technical logs — standard request data our hosts keep to run the service and keep it secure.

Guests who join a leg by scanning a QR code don't need an account. They just pick a name for that game, and the join link expires when the leg ends.

What we don't collect

No advertising trackers, no third-party analytics pixels, and we never sell or rent your data. For usage analytics we use Plausible, which is privacy-friendly, cookieless, and doesn't track you across sites.

How we use it

  • Run the service and keep your game history.
  • Sign you in and keep you signed in.
  • Contact you about your account or important changes.
  • Keep the service secure and working.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your data. We rely on a few trusted providers to run dartz·co:

  • Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
  • Vercel — application hosting.
  • Plausible — privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics.

They process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. That's it — no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you, export, or delete the data we hold about you. Email hello@dartz.dev and we'll sort it out. If you're in the EU/EEA you have rights under the GDPR, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Data retention

We keep your account and game data while your account is active. Delete your account and we remove it — some backups may linger briefly before they cycle out.

Children

dartz·co isn't directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU), and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top, and we'll tell you directly if it's a meaningful change.
